The Living Faith Church yesterday donated relief materials worth over N5 million to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Jalingo, Taraba State. Presenting the materials to the IDPs in one of the camps in Howai Primary School, Mile Six, the president, Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, called on the IDPs not to lose hope.

Represented by the Resident Pastor of the church in the state, Rev Enoch Istifanus, Oyedepo said the gesture was to identify with IDPs across the country.

“You are not alone in your trying period, we are with you and we share in your pains and challenges. We urge you to have faith in God; faith can change your story from being victims to being victors. You will not be IDPs forever,” he said.

Meanwhile, the General Overseer of Eminirekan Prayer and Charity Ministry based in the United Kingdom, Evangelist Afolayan Jackson, has said God revealed to him to pray fervently for well-known pastors in Nigeria not to fall.

He said: “The world should pray specifically for Bishop Oyedepo of Winners Chapel and other great men of God that the plan of the enemies will not come to pass concerning them and their ministry. Eminirekan Ministry have been interceding for these men of God and their ministries for God to uphold them and disgrace the devil with his agents on their behalf.”

The evangelist who said he saw the revelation that President Muhammadu Buhari will be voted for a second term in office, urged Christians to take the vision seriously. “Christians in Nigeria should stand up and intercede for these great men of God.”
