Agape Generation International Church has concluded plans to hold a two-day retreat for female ministers and pastors at the church’s headquarters in Maryland, Lagos. The event will take place on October 27 and 28.
Associate Pastor of the Church, Rev. Dr. Shade Toyin-Kehinde said in a chat with Church Times that the conference used to be mainly for wives of missionaries and female missionaries.
This year’s conference according to her is however opened up to all women who are in ministry irrespective of their area of call.
She said, “We saw the need to go beyond those in missions. Several women are doing ministry in diverse ways. Rather than limit it to only those on the mission field, we thought it wise to make it a platform for all women.”
Those who will be ministering at the event are experienced female ministers who have put in about two decades in ministry.
“Many of our facilitators for the two-day event as indicated in the flier are women who have been in ministry for close to 20 years and more.

“They will be sharing their experiences with other women during the conference. I am certain those experiences will be a blessing to many women, especially the younger ones that are just coming into ministry.” She said.
The two-day event according to her will also be an opportunity for women to network and form a bond that would ultimately make ministry work easy for them.
She noted that many women are hurting and are at a loss on how to go about God’s call upon their lives. “ We trust that God will use this conference to heal hearts that are broken and also help women who are confused about ministry find a clear pathway.”
The event will be held on October 27 and 28 at the Agape Generation International Church, Mende Maryland, Lagos
