“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces”.( Psalms 122:6-7).
The nation of Isreal is currently swirling in the heat of heavy genocide assault against the lives of innocent civilians, and unaware soldiers. Reports indicate that many lives have been lost and many also wounded as a result of the sudden and unexpected attack this Saturday 7 October 2023.
Saturday’s assault occurred on the 50th anniversary of the 1973 war, when Israel’s Arab neighbors launched a surprise attack on Israel on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, on October 6, 1973.
Further reports revealed that Israel is one of the most powerful, politically influential, and militarily strong countries in the world, according to a 2022 roundup by US News & World Report. Israel’s highest ranking was for its military, which was placed fourth, behind only Russia, the United States, and China.
Fighting between Israeli forces and Islamist group Hamas was ongoing at seven or eight locations near Gaza two days after Hamas gunmen killed 700 Israelis and abducted dozens more in the deadliest raid into Israeli territory since Egypt and Syria’s attacks in the Yom Kippur war 50 years ago”.
Israel right from biblical times has always been a nation of Destiny,  a nation that has been loved by God. it’s not a new thing for any nation to attack the nation of Israel.
Reports revealed that “Palestinian militant group Hamas has issued a widespread call for the “free people of the world” to mobilize on Friday.
“We call on the Arab and Muslim world and the free peoples of the world to attend the Al-Aqsa Flood event on Friday in order to voice solidarity with the Palestinian people and resistance, expose the Israeli occupation’s crimes, and foil its aggressive schemes, and defend the Al-Asqa Mosque,” the group said in a statement on its site Tuesday.
It also urged the Palestinian people to launch mass protests against Israel and called on the “free peoples of the world to express solidarity with the Palestinian peoples.”
Right from time Israel and Gaza have been in a one-to-one disagreement that ignited several wars between the two rivals.
My major concern here is the reaction of Israel towards Hamas, We can’t but not poke nose into the issue. Israel has been a known nation with a high range of War ammunition and intellectual brains, and one could draw from the reaction of Israel that, Israel is set for war against their enemies.
My major concern is for God to intervene in Israel and For God to make peace between these two rivals, Israel and Palestine nations.

Nevertheless, scripture is fulfilling itself, Mathew lays emphasis on the prediction of our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24:6(KJV) “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows”.This is not the first prevalent news of war happening between two countries of the nation.
It’s just the fulfillment of the prediction of the Bible. It is an opportunity for us believers to sit tight and examine our relationship with Christ, so that we would not be caught unawares but quite buckled up for the celestial flight.
Christ has stated that when you see all these things know fully that the end of the earthly essence of life is near.
Luke 21:20-28 (NIV)
20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.
23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.
24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming in the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near.”
What then should we get from this? Absolute preparation answers the almost rhetorical question. We are to prepare and sit tight with our relationship with the Lord.
It is also an opportunity for those who have not received Christ as their Savior and Lord to accept him with immediacy, so as to avert the last day Judgement.
Scriptures say that if the righteous are scarcely saved, then what would be the fate of those who have not even believed in his name?
It would be fatal and calamitous, for the final fate of every man on earth lies on the last day of flight and last day of Judgement.
We can’t but not speak the bitter truth, although it stings sweetly, it’s a moment of sober reflection and spiritual relationship realignment with Christ.
And to non-believers, my advice to you is for you to REPENT and change your ways back to the path of the old Cross. Only in that place, you can find Eternal security and the true reason for living.
Luke 13:3-5 (NIV),”But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
Lest you perish and be forgotten like our Historical fathers in the past.
Matt. 5 Verses 17 to 20,”For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven”.

 THE CALL

1 Peter 4:18-19  (ESV) “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good”.1 Peter 4:18-19  (ESV)
“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved”. Acts 4:12.
Furthermore, I enjoin everyone to join me to seek the Lord’s face in prayers concerning Israel.
Let’s pray for peace to reign between Israel and Palestine.
Let’s pray for God’s salvation to the opposing rival against Israel,
Let’s pray for their salvation, for God to open their eyes to see the light of the Gospel.
Let’s pray for God’s revival in the nation of Israel, which would proliferate around their neighbouring countries.
Let’s then pray for ourselves that at the end of this battle we fighting in this depraved world, the battle against sin, the battle against invisible forces, and the battle against the cravings of the flesh at the end of this spiritual battle we would not be left behind either in general rapture or the personal rapture.
We would translocate into the heavenly beatific realm as victorious soldiers of God. For the Bible says, 1 Corinthians 15:52 (ESV ) “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. Again in,1 Thessalonians 5:2 (ESV ) “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night”
Shalom!
